About James E. Hoffman, Jr.

I know you’re not about to trust your company to just anyone. If I were you, I’d be very careful who I’d be sharing information with, much less help me determine important strategic moves that will make the difference between mediocrity and greatness.

I’m not going to toot my own horn or blow smoke, but what I will do is succinctly list important facts that I myself would like to see if I were in your position.

  • Who I am: a business coach who grows great business leaders and great companies. I won’t step outside that role except when we’re kicking back or I’m celebrating a victory with you.
  • I have more than 25 years of success as an entrepreneur, strategist, scientist and award-winning team builder.
  • I usually don’t work on short-term assignments, except occasionally to teach or conduct an introductory workshop.
  • I’m a Coaching Partner for Gazelles International. (See the About Gazelles page.)
  • I founded and am acting president of the CEO Forum of Pittsburgh, an organization that provides executive programming and peer-to-peer mentorship for business owners and leaders in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
  • I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Geneva College and two Master’s degrees from Duquesne University: an M.S. in Environmental Science and Management and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Management. I ranked first in my class in both Master’s programs.
